ACE TAKES ACTION AGAINST OPERATORS OF TWO CANADIAN-BASED IPTV SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES: JUICE TV & DREAM TV

December 20, 2021

Toronto, Canada. December 20, 2021The Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment (ACE), the world’s leading coalition dedicated to protecting the legal ecosystem and reducing digital piracy, has officially shut down two popular illegal Canadian IPTV services, Juice TV and Dream TV.

Juice TV was an IPTV subscription service with over 2500 live channels and 15,000 video-on-demand (VOD) titles, in addition to live & PPV sports. The service operator developed custom IPTV apps and a VPN client. Traffic to the three primary domains associated with the JuiceTV service had been trending up since May 2021.

Dream TV, launched in 2018, was an IPTV subscription service that claimed to offer over 800 channels, video-on-demand (VOD) television programming and PPV sports. ACE took action against the Windsor, Canada-based operator, and following direct communication, the service went offline.

Following ACE’s actions, all Juice TV and Dream TV domains were transferred to ACE and are now redirecting to the Watch Legally section on the ACE website.

The services also used targeted ad campaigns to drive traffic and gain popularity with their Canadian visitors.

The theft of digital content harms both local and foreign films and businesses, threatens jobs, undermines investment, reduces tax contributions to governments, and stifles creativity.
