The statement was made by Karen Thorland, Senior Vice President & Chief of Global Content Protection, Legal, at the Motion Picture Association:

We are pleased that the US District Court for the Central District of California has granted a preliminary injunction in our case against the operator of Quality Restreams. Civil actions are one of the many ways ACE protects the legal ecosystem for creative content around the world.”
